Why DLC characters on a separate screen?

That's sorta weird, they can fit ALOT of characters on the CSS.

    Hey I'm not taking shots at Lucas mains or EB fans. If that's your thing, more power to you, I'm just saying that compared to the other DLC characters, Lucas just doesn't seem to stack up in my opinion. STRICTLY my opinion!

    Earthbound jokes/insults aside, I was wondering that too. Makes it sort of annoying going back and forth between character selections, especially if you made a mistake or something.
