Corrin and Bayonetta

I got Corrin and Bayonetta last night and Bayonetta is a lot of fun and so is Corrin and now i have all dlc characters

    Wasn't it mentioned that Bayonetta wasn't actually the top vote (instead being chosen because of feasibility or something maybe)? And was only in the top 10 or so? Also, if it was partially a popularity contest (which it seems to have been), doesn't that mean that more obscure characters (e.g. any of the robots from One Must Fall 2097) were out of the question?

    The thing is, I'm not even upset at the characters we got, so much as the fact that these are the LAST characters we are getting. If these weren't the last ones, I doubt anybody would have minded half as much (though Fire Emblem would still be over-represented, people wouldn't have cared as much), but as it stands, we're getting these characters INSTEAD of someone like Shovel Knight, or Spyro..

    ...or a more obscure character like one of the HARs (the name of the giant robots from One Must Fall 2097) or Pulseman (from the game of the same name). We're getting THIS instead of the return of fan-favorites, too, like Wolf (even if I don't care too much, I know that must people DO)!

    I like Bayonetta a lot she is reakky fun to play with i really want her to be my 2nd main i want to master her combos like i can do with Ryu because Ryu is my 1st main

    @it's me you must watch direct again. bayonetta was 1st in Europe , top 5 in us. 1 worldwide realizble character. Bayonetta is the best character, get over it haters.

    There is also an interview where Sakurai said him self that bayonetta was the highest voted character that he could negotiate.

    I don't know why people are hateing on Bayonetta being in this game i think that she is a fun character but she will take a long time to master so i will master her and make her my 2nd main

    @MooN That's basically what I meant, actually. 1st REALIZABLE character may just mean "first place character that we have easy rights to and we don't have time to go out of our way to get the rights to yet another character when we're already really close to the rights in this case". Obviously I could be wrong, though.

    @Daemon I think it's less Bayonetta being in the game, and more the fact that we AREN'T getting another character as well (and that we won't EVER get another character for Super Smash Bros. 4, actually), since, well not EVERYONE wanted Bayonetta (myself included, though it's not that I truly MIND it and more that I kinda wanted other characters instead).

    So, guess what that means? Not hating on Bayonetta (though as someone with some rather YOUNG siblings, I AM a TAD bit annoyed, to be honest), more hating on the fact that we're getting her INSTEAD of someone like Shovel Knight, or maybe someone who deserved more attention and didn't get it, like Pulseman (seriously, that game is AWESOME, and old, yet basically nobody's heard of it, then, or now).

    You're entitled to your oppion, however they got character from capcom, sega, squarel enix, namco, game freaks, moon, and obviously nintendo. So to think that there are companys like yate club, wayword thinking, level 5, and even rare, would all said they were on bored if there characters, siad no is obsurd. think who could they not negotiate? Micky mouse and goku come to mind
