What do you guys think of Bayonetta and Corrin?

I think they are a breathe of fresh air for Smash. :)

    Love that Corrin is in SSB. Bayonetta is a tricky character and will take time to perfect fighting as her. That outfit is as good as Tails is going to get in an official SSB game with Sakurais rules preventing him.

    Buy Corrin. You can't go wrong with a Dragon Swordsman who stun, pierce enemy to the ground, has many moves that hit multiple times, and a dragon that changes color based on which color Corrin you pick. Corrins stats are pretty balanced so it should be easy to pick up, learn, and use.

    I'm a bit torn on Bayo. Her combos are insane (15-20 damage from an OoS punish???) but I have a lot of trouble getting in with her, since her ground moves have questionable priority and speed, and she has difficulty KOing without exploiting Witch Time. Her ranged options aren't as good as I expected, too, and her recovery is awful. Also, I feel like the bat form actually a liability.

    I would main any Sonic character that got into Smash *o* and Bayonetta is hard to get used to, especially that different recovery. Of course, she's only been out a day so far, so I'm not the best at playing as her yet.

    @Arold I reccomend Corrin in terms of play, style, and animation. However, Bayonetta is a good buy too. The decision is yours: Bayonetta is hard to learn, but OP with combos, taunts, and a counter. Corrin can turn into a dragon AND has a beautiful moveset, male/female alts., awesome aerials, but he/she is a little slow, and takes a bit to learn. Your choice! (hopefully not too late to post this)

    If you are serious about smash, you should get bayonetta, as she is hard to use but has far more potential than corrin. The faster combo characters are almost always better competitively. Casually, corrin is probably much easier to learn, but i doubt he/she will be any better than bayonetta once these characters are fully explored.

    Corrin is a nice addition to SSB. He feels more balanced than the other FE characters (though that may just be me), pulling off combos doesn't feel like a chore, and I will say his final smash is impressive. Go with him.
