    Why? Because a lot if kids were complaining about people rage quit because it breaks up their fights so Nintendo decided to punish people from doing "rage quitting" so that it teaches those people a lesson. If you don't rage quit then you either have terrible WiFi or the other person does.

    Rage quits ruin fighting games or games in general so applying a punishment to get kids to stop that seems reasonable.
