Question

DLC Troubles

So, my 3DS has bad wireless, because it's old and I've dropped it occasionally, and I can't fully connect to get the new DLC. But, is it possible to get the DLC by putting my SD card in another 3DS and download it from there, and then have the SD Card placed into my own 3DS, then I could have the DLC? Or would that not work?
