puzzle solver

anyone else find that when you watch a friend play a puzzle game that you have never even seen before but can solve with a quick look at it even with little understanding of the games mechanics, while your friend you has had time with the game can't even solve the first part of it, is just so painful to look at and you have to do your hardest not to yell at them how to solve it?
