    for my idea, i would introduce two new mechanics like Dark Smashes and Tag In System. the idea behind Tag In System is you can switch between two characters and can do cross attack for example: if Mario tags with luigi while use fireball attack, Luigi would use his b attack along with him. however both characters share the same percentage bar.
