Lack of Bayonetta in For Glory

I just noticed that out of all the recent DLC characters, Corrin is played much more than Bayonetta. And people were hyped up about Bayonetta and super salty about Corrin when they were announced. I guess it's because of the learning curve. I found Corrin easier to play than Bayonetta. Anyone have any ideas?

  • It's probably because playing Bayonetta is moreso like playing her games instead of Smash. >> People are just jealous of my Waifu, Kamui...

  • It's exactly because of the learning curve. Her neutral is lack-luster and you really need to land her 0 to deaths or Witch Time counters to consistently get kills. People are also really struggling with her weird recovery. Even top players have been SDing with her...

  • I think you're about right. Corrin seems much stronger at lower levels of investment, plus I think his moves are generally safer which is a boon when playing through input lag (don't have him, so I wouldn't know lol). Bayo usage might pick up once high-level players explore her game more, although tbqh I'm not optimistic on that front.
