    The fact that Corrin doesn't wear shoes is one of the first things most people noticed actually. As for why, some people say that it's not even explained in the Japanese version of the new FE game. When the English version gets released we'll see for ourselves, though. But as of right now, nobody knows. Corrin transforms parts of his body, including his feet. Shoes would get in the way I think.

    Well my guess is that he/she is part dragon and is callous to things like lava and rocks. However no one questions ryu and wii fit not having shoes. :[

    It's part of the norh and hoshido culture. He fighting with his sword using a more japanese sword fighting style. And that particular style was done barefoot.

    that's the design aspect reason at least. But the actual canon given reason his needed connection to the ground to transform into a dragon like he does.

    Ryu uses no shoes as it defines a strong character. He says this to Sakura in Udon's Sf Comics. WiiFit is due to the fact most people are training at home, Not often people wear shoes indoors.

    Good theories. I was wondering maybe he/she forgot them or Ike stolen them as a sick joke. also wondered why bare feet were necessary to transform yet he/she wears cloths yet that dosent get on the way... maybe a nude thing I guess.
