"Reminder that smogon is a joke" No. Smogon probably isn't the most balanced competitive Pokémon format in general, but considering that the only other relevant format (the VGC format) either bans all legendaries (including the terrible ones like Articuno) and nothing else or allows everything, depending on the year, Smogon is the only relevant format that can claim to be close to balanced.
