    What ever he chooses im sure will be a fun game. A part of me thinks its the SSB6(NX) launch game(then he won't have to worry about another SSB game until the console after NX along with the wait time to make the game which could be 9-12 year vacation from SSB).

    Sakurai calls SSBWiiU SSB5. He did this years ago in an interview that clearly many people either never read, forgot, or just ignore what the creator says as this is not the first time i have heard someone say that.

    Smash U isn't Smash 5. It's Smash 4 and it has a watered-down, pathetic WeakDS port. Also, that Smash NX thing is only a rumor. I think Sakurai should hand the Smash franchise over to someone competent that doesn't lie on a regular basis.

    @Denzel: Smash WiiU is Smash 5, its official. And yes the NX version is only a rumor but its coming from a very creditable source which makes it very believable and many people knew this would happen. And the game series is fine with Sakurai and he has not lied at all about this game.

    @Niko, SSB:NX is being made for launch according to a very creditable source. We very well could see another SSB game(likely WiiU version ported over to NX with new content) within the next 3 years

    Very true. Smash for 3DS and Wii U is still too fresh. It's WAY WAY too soon for a brand new Smash. Way too soon to even be thinking of one, honestly. Give the current version a chance for a few years at least. Yikes! Give Sakurai rest. If anything, this rumored Smash will be a port, I would have more reason to believe.

    kage: What ever your "official" source is is wrong. Both games were being worked on at the same time, both rosters are the same, and their mechanics are the same. Smash U is Smash 4 and Smash WeakDS is its watered-down port.

    kage: Sakurai is a known liar. Nothing he says is to be trusted. And he intentionally named the games Smash 4 Wii U & 4 3DS to emphasise that they are different versions of the same game (Smash 4). Anyone with a 5th grade education could figure that out. There is no Smash 5 yet.

    @Danzel, he is not a liar and there is a whole article that proves he never lied and its the fans that make hims seem like a liar. Like i said he already said it in an interview 3DS version=SSB4 and WiiU version=SSB5. Any 5th grader can look this up and realize that once the creator says it then thats it. And Niko the NX version will likely have different content so yes that will count.
