I'm pretty sure millions are butthurt about not having a "new" clone in smash. People may think that clones don't take up space but they do. If wolf had won the vote that would've been a complete waste of a vote. we have 3 new characters. obviously from the vote you could see that no one wanted anymore clones. unique characters are what make smash fun and unpredictable.

    First of all, Wolf is not a clone. Same applies to Lucas and now Roy as well. All of these are semiclones at best. Second, I think you misinterpreted the "waste of roster slot" thing. Back then when Smash 4's roster was revealed/leaked, people blamed the moveset clones (Dr. Mario, Lucina and Dark Pit) to rob the slots from more worthy candidates.     Do you even fighting games?Every fighting game has clones.For example,SF has got ryu and ken and pokken has got pikachu and pikachu libre.Also,wolf,lucas and roy are SEMI clones

    Clones are just a waste space no matter what way you look at it we could've had so many better characters if Nintendo would just drop the clones give'm a palette swap and it'll the same.
