    I would still LOVE to have Sonic Generations and Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 2 on the Wii U!! I only own the Wii and Wii U!

    Whatever the next Sonic game is, I hope it's worthwhile playing. Here's some suggestions: -story in space -new powers for sonic -new allies -new bad guys -setting in a diffrent world -possibly new shoes or gloves -add spin dashes in the game -entire game 3D levels -lots of levels and worlds -add shadow and silver(change shadow's personality so he's not mean to sonic)

    Most of these suggestions are good, but I certaintly wouldn't add Shadow and Silver into the game, or new playable allies!

    What we need is Sonic. Nothing else, no one else, just Sonic. The old games were the best, though I was a fan of generations. No voice acting, we don't even need a story. Egg take emmadoods, Sanic get emmadoods back, Sanic save day.

    Sega should also change silver so he's more cool like sonic. Also, you guys are both wrong. Silver and Shadow have to be in the game so Sonic 06 isn't still in players minds as they're playing Sonic games. And we NEED voice acting and a story. Sonic has to have a voice, and if it's just sonic saving the day then players are just buying a game that has already been out for 18 years.

    The games that have been out for 18 years are better than any of the recent ones. Mario doesn't have a voice, and he's never tried. The formula works.

    Eh, I personally wouldn't say that ALL of the older Sonic games were all that good. I mean, Sonic 1 was actually fairly slow, had combat that wasn't all that great, had fairly uninteresting boss fights, and just generally speaking was more of a tech demo than a truly fantastic game. Sonic the Hedgehog TWO, on the other hand... Now that I can agree was awesome.

    That one fixed the issues of Sonic 1. It made things faster, but not too fast, it fixed the bugs from Sonic 1 (like the way spikes could stunlock you, though later versions of Sonic 1 technically fixed that as well), it made the combat more fun, and it made the boss fights more interesting. As for the newer ones, anybody here ever played Sonic Rush?

    Because THAT was a lot like the older Sonic games. Say what you will about the boost, but it made the cheap shots that past Sonic games seemed to love a lot less common. Outside of the first few levels, the game WAS actually about a lot more than just holding right and boosting, since most of the time, going at those high speeds could still be problematic because of platforming...

    ...and then there were the boss fights. Honestly, if the entire game was JUST the mid-game levels and the boss fights, it would have been fun. Also, Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations. Pretty much anything I could say about those two has already been said. Also, at this point, having a game LITERALLY without story would be a bad idea, since it's basically become an essential part of games...

    ...to at LEAST have some kind of throw-away story. I mean, even Sonic & Knuckles had a bit of story, even if it was told without dialogue. Anyways, on to the subject of Sonic Lost World, because I saved that for last: Like most people, I actually still at LEAST liked it. It may not have been perfect, it had some severe flaws, but it was still fun for the most part, even if not as MUCH fun...

    ...as past Sonic games. For a new Sonic game, like someone else said, I'd like to see the best from Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, and Sonic Lost World. Also, to anybody opposed to story/voice acting: Have you even PLAYED Sonic Colors? Because the writing and voices in that game were HILARIOUS, at least in my (and many other people's) book(s)!
