I don't get it.

How are there "too many" FE reps when there are only 6? People should be glad that its not another FE clone, and aren't these the VERY same people who were complaining about Melee and Brawl only having 2 FE reps? You guys aren't real Nintendo fans.

    My only issue is Fire Emblem is not THAT popular. Seriously they have more reps than Zelda and as many as Pokèmon.

    I think it may be because Fire Emblem has more representatives than more important franchiseslike Zelda, Metroid and Kirby.

    Also, people are unhappy about Bayonetta being in smash cuz its inappropriate? Thats true, but these are the SAME people who always stare at ZSS's 7th and 8th costumes and take long hours staring at them.

    It's relative. Fire Emblem is not exactly a massively popular series, so six characters is quite a lot, especially when compared to several more-popular franchises like The Legend of Zelda. Having said that, people need to realize that A. while franchise representation is a factor, it's not the lone one and B. FE rep numbers were driven up due to circumstance, and not for the sake of representing.
