    I always was Mixed on Growlithe or Vulpix. Arcanine has a Coller design, but Ninetails had more of a movepool to take Advantage of it's Stats.

    Yeah, but to be fair the competitive meta back then was practically nonexistent. Competitive teams were pretty much selected from about 12 or so viable choices: Chansey, Alakazam, Rhydon, Golem, Tauros, Snorlax, Gengar, Dragonite, Eggsecutor, Jolteon, and to a lesser extent the 3 Legendary Birds were all you had to choose from.

    When I first played Splatoon and made my character, the game asked if I was a boy or girl. I just had to make a Professor Oak related post for that. I remember how everybody kept mocking me for choosing Bulbasaur and threw out their Charizard, only for my Mewtwo to take them by surprise. When Red/Blue hits Virtual Console, I plan to use my old team again.
