Advice for those who are Sad or Upset

I'm not the best with words so please forgive me if I sound like a screaming baby Don't pity yourself. It's hard but don't. Because once you do, you can't stop and that just makes matters worse. You want to see the good in you. No one wants to hang out with someone who always puts themselves down. Pity parties are not fun parties. Trust me. Go to a fun party.

    Allow me to further elaborate on this, things will get better, it's a 100% guarantee. Friends/Family/(Significant Other if Applicable) will start noticing if you start visibly showing your sadness, and you can bet all of your money they'll treat you extremely well. I've hit some pretty dangerous lows, so I try to make people happy because I never want anyone to go through what I've went fhrough.

    I hate it when I feel down sometimes bec in the long run you realize what a waste of time moping was. Things don't get better unless you are actively seeking ways to obtain good goals and to better yourself.

    Omg, I meant you can't bring yourself so low. Sitting around doing nothing isn't helping the situation. And of course family will notice. But sitting around and feeling sorry for yourself does no good, heck it doesn't even FEEL good. I was stating from personal experience :P @Firebolt, I agree with you completely @Stefan, That's what I meant. You feel worse because you wasted that time

    @Sammy, thanks! @mcawesome, That is not necessarily true. Saying nothing will ever get better is a complete lie. You can't exactly wait but you can't exactly take loads of action. Every situation is different.

    I was just saying that throwing yourself into a ditch won't do much even if people notice. You have to see the good in you. But of course you also want to talk with others about the situation. I've noticed that majority people don't care/understand unless you approach them personally.

    Lmao saying "nothing will get better" is a uh, pretty close-minded statement. It's not a set rule that everything will ultimately get better, but time is a powerful thing. And oftentimes, time's passage heals.
