It's kind of weird when you think about it! The first few sequels of a movie will usually have a number and a maybe a subtitle next to it, but after a while movie sequels will probably just have a subtitle! With the Smash series, it started in the opposite direction, with each sequel having a subtitle before moving on to a just a number with the 4th entry in the series!

hmm, Assault is the only name that I think that could fit! I forgot to mention another potential subtitle! How does Smackdown sound? I kinda like it, though it does sound a bit cliche as well.

Smash Bros. Smackdown (a nice, longer name)! You're objective is to meteor/spike the opponent which is the ONLY way to K.O. them! I got Smash Assault from the memory of Starfox Assault (VERY creative! (sarcasm)) I wish that at least ONE of these titles (mostly Assault, Clash and Bruiser) gets chosen for Smash. Bruisers would be nice if the competitive play mechanics increase. Last post!

but don't you see!corrins final smash uses the salt water from the haters!we need them!lol.anyways,people do need to honor sakuri for what he did.he didn't need to do it at all!but instead he gave us seven new characters,nine stages,and a ton of costumes!plus getting the rights to ryu,cloud(that must have been extremely hard),and bayonetta!he did so much,and pretty much no one says thank you!

I don't remember this fanbase EVER being so ungrateful in the previous installments. Probably because Sakurai pacified them with Adventure/Story mode and the Classic target Smash along with Wolf, PKMN trainer and Ice Climbers. But instead of full modes EVERYONE would enjoy, this Smash focused more on roster variety which barely anyone would 100% agree with.

I feel at this point that the fanbase is actually why Sakurai doesn't want to make another smash game... There's nothing anyone could do to stop them. Unless he makes the next game scare off the casuals and get the true players.
