    Common Core is the education system being enstated over here. Its different from the old education system and its really horrible. Theres a bunch of working in teams type stuff with it too (which I really hate because I'm so introverted) but I do stuff alone anyways. My team usually just copies off me because I finish long before everyone else :v

    I feel the exact same way where I am now. The state recently stopped putting tax money into education, while simultaneously pushing new, harder material on us. Including a brand new test system. Joy. Not to mention the school I'm going to makes a heck of a lot of money, but has so many programs that make it get spread so thinly. All that coupled with the fact I hate my teachers, the material

    is easy for me (and pretty much only me) and I have to work with /other people/ (which ends up making me actually do worse on things like reading exercises and general classwork, plus I hate all of them, and they all hate me) just ends up really badly. I can safely say that every day I've gone to school for this past schoolyear, I've had more things to complain about from my day than I've good.

    America needs to get it together. Our education system is bad, our economy is bad, we're billions of dollars in debt to China and other countries. Plus my state is getting more taxes. We're already the most taxed and populated state in North America

    My state is basically saying they're more willing to cut education funds to have prison cells ready because we didn't get a good education. I think my state now has the worst education rate in the country since they stopped putting a fair amount of money into education.
