7 THINGS TO MAKE ME WANNA GET SMASH NX

7) STORY MODE: Of all the things I miss from the previous games Story Mode is the one that may top the list. I loved Brawl's SubSpace Emissary. An epic tale bringing together the heroes and villains of the Nintendo (and Sega and Konami) universe that included beautiful stages, amazing boss battles, and the most brutal final boss I'd ever encountered.

    Now let's not get ahead of ourselves. Saying Steve (whose done NOTHING for Nintendo) is eligible for smash since he's had 1 Wii U game is just like saying several miscellaneous characters (Octodad, Typoman, Boxboy, etc.) are eligible for their Wii U games.

    3) SHOVEL KNIGHT: This maybe the best indie game I've ever played. I honestly think SK has a decent shot at making it to Smash eventually. His amiibo proves that Nintendo is willing to get behind this guy and he certainly has a lot of move potential.

    2) ONE WINGED ANGEL SOUNDTRACK: The only thing that disappointed me about Cloud was the fact that Midgar didn't include this magnificent piece of music. It is in my opinion the greatest music to have ever come from a videogame EVER!!!

    1) RIDLEY/MYSTERY CREATURE: I'm sure some of you out there are sick of me going on about this but still I believe it can be done. With characters like Juggernaut and Sentinel in Marvel vs. Capcom I think Ridley could get in without being shrunk too much. I would also happily accept the Mystery Creature with full-grown Ridley as a Final Smash.

    Way to elaborate bro. I agree on the adventure mode and mii fighter definitely. I had also wished they would've transfered an online Smash Run to wii u, and created more game modes like, Juggernaut(1strong vs 3 weak), capture the flag (Smash Run mode), King of the hill, Divide and Concur(capture points), ect. I also wished they would've made tourney mode a local mode, like melee and brawl had it.

    The question is, what has SQUARE ENIX/Final Fantasy done for Nintendo. See, FF is the face of all RPG's and having them on several Nintendo consoles AND certain exclusive features promotes Nintendo's console and Square. Cloud has been on several Nintendo games (as cameos) and is a huge gaming icon. Steve? Not so much.

    That doesn't necessarily mean he's a flat-out dumb character (although 85% of the fanbase would disagree) but as of now, he's a memorable character from a game on multiple consoles. What makes Shovel Knight different? He started as a Nintendo exclusive and has proved loyalty to Nintendo with the 1st fully developed 3rd party amiibo, something Nintendo PERSONALLY requested. He became an indie icon

    @Mark: While I'd love for Ridley to be playable, it'll likely never happen as long as Sakurai's in charge. Hopefully Sakurai won't direct the next game or at the very least will have less control over the roster. The Ridley on Pyrosphere is the clone Ridley from Other M. The original Ridley could be made playable and scaled down. Unfortunately, Sakurai doesn't see it that way.

    @Vennek Jr: I think this is the first time I've ever read one of your posts and agreed with it. While I wouldn't want Shovel Knight in SSB (Quote from Cave Story is a much better choice imo if we need an indie rep), I'd definitely agree he has a far better chance than Steve. Your reasoning for Cloud is also agreeable.

    Not to squash anyone's dreams for ''Smash NX'' but I feel like it just going to be a port of Smash 4 with all the DLC available form the start. I mean that only makes sense if it's supposed to be a launch title for the NX in the possible 2016 window.

    Steve's not my most wanted character but it would be ( kinda ) cool if he was in. If all things they should add inklings if the fanbase agrees. They gained a bit of popularity with Splatoon being Nintendo's unique colourful shooter. So much ideas for moves ( sorta ).
