Thoughts On Bayonetta?

Just got her and Corrin today! A lot of people seem to like Bayonetta, though some say she's a little broken or "overpowered" (I have yet to see this)...Can anyone give me an idea on what she's like?

    Very true, sadly. That's why I was a little nervous about what people would think of this post. Luckily, I somehow naturally agree with and/or understand where most people come from. Like I said, I'm trying B either way, but I'll still be using other characters!

    Glad my nervousness was for nothing after all! For my first time on Miiverse, it was exciting to have people who had different opinions. And yeah, no matter the majority, I'm trying to get well-rounded by trying new characters, and Corrin and Bayonetta are no exception! Thanks again, you all deserve follows!

    Just like with any tool, it's the combination of the tool and the person wielding it that determines how effective both can be. Many times in fighting games, it isn't the characters themselves so much as the players' knowledge OF those characters. That being said, Bay has been out for what, 4 days? Give everyone some time to learn some strategies and counters before judging. Sheesh.

    Can someone answer my question? How can a character be weak, broken or overpowered IF THEY WEREN'T EVEN OUT LONG ENOUGH FOR YOU TO ANALYZE THEIR STRENGTHS/WEAKNESS ?!?!

    I don't like her, but I don't dislike her either. My only real complaint about her is why can't other characters have the ability to taunt cancel? Seriously, I want to spam Captain Falcon's down taunt.

    @Connor: none of the other character's taunts are as obscenely long as Bay's. Being able to cancel after a second or so was pretty much a necessity to counter accidental button presses.

    I'll have to play B to judge on the last few points, Savage, but I can see where you're coming from in regards to her being way too sexual. To be fair, at least she's more censored compared to her original games... Regardless, thank you for the thoughts!
