    @Mark: I'd prefer the Ridley from Super Metroid to be added since it's a different character from the Other M clone. Dunno who'd be a viable Zelda rep since I don't really play Zelda games, but they definitely should added SOMEONE. StarFox shouldn't have lost Wolf. I'd also argue Pikmin deserves a 2nd rep; if Earthbound/Mother can have 2, Pikmin should too.

    If the Xeno series gets another rep, I hope it's a character from Xenogears or Xenosaga and not Xenoblade Chronicles/XCX. Both Chronicles and X are considered among the best games on their system, yet the previous games hardly gets any attention. That said, I would rather have Isaac. Golden Sun fans have waited long for a rep in Smash Bros.

    Xenosaga and Xenogears were PS2 and PS1 respectively. I highly doubt Nintendo would draw attention to them unless they planned to re-release them on the eShop (which would be awesome). I'd still prefer getting a GS rep of course.

    If the Zelda series will get a new rep, I believe it should either be a recent, interesting villain or a character who has appeared a number of times in the series. I personally believe Impa is the best candidate for the job.

    toon gannondorf?preferably, the one thats not a semi capt.falcon clone. they could even throw in hyrule warriors moveset mixed with toon gannon. just an idea.

    All the DLC characters to be in the game, a couple humongus maps that can be used for the next thing I want, INSANE MODE a mode where like 20-50 players SMASH in a HUGE map, thats all for today folks.

    slightly out of topic: i hope there's less fire emblem bias next game too. he was already pushing it with lucina, a planned alternate costume into a character and brought back a vet who was originally fire marth(roy). so i understand people frustrations when he put in corrin,while others that are underreped get ignored. and in wolf case, cut for no reason at all.

    I agree that other IPs need attention. That said, I really doubt Sakurai cares anymore. The NX port will most likely just be a port with maybe Ice Climbers and Wolf; I don't even expect a newcomer at this point. I'm setting my expectations really low for this.

    This will probably not happen in Smash NX, but would Rundas be a good 3rd Metroid rep, in case Ridley got in? (I count Samus and Zero-suit Samus as one character).

    I would like to see Shovel Night, Nintendo got alot of Hate for not putting Shovel Night in smash (Iwas one of the haters) They Even Made him an amiibo!

    @Jetheart: I think Dark Samus and Sylux would be better reps than Rundas. Dark Samus appears in the 3 main Prime games in some capacity, while Sylux is confirmed to be in Federation Force which makes him a recurring character in the spin-off Prime games (Hunters and now Federation Force). Rundas is only important in Prime 3 and doesn't appear anywhere else in the series IIRC.

    @Chaos Josh: I'd personally rather see Quote from Cave Story in SSB if an indie rep is absolutely necessary. I'd rather not have any indie characters at all, but if we HAD to have one I'd prefer Quote or Shantae. That said, if Shovel Knight were included, I probably wouldn't care too much; it'd be a lot better than Corrin imo.

    I see. The argument you have against Rundas is similar to the argument I have against Tingle (yes, some people have actually suggested him, of all Zelda characters). While Tingle appeared in two Zelda games, as a DLC character in Hyrule Warriors and even has his own spin-off games in japan, he's not important to the Zelda storyline and there are other characters that represent the series better.
