    lucas's high damaging moves are slower, and ness has better combo potential.

    Ness has the stronger forward smash ( bat ) but Lucas has the stronger up smash ( maybe the strongest ). ness and his pk fire stuns opponents if caught, great for a bat attack if cought in it. Lucas has the sweet spot attacks, I mean hit just right and power goes up. ( even sounds different. personal, I like Lucas better but ness and his bat make it hard to choose.
