How to git gud at Trophy Rush:

1. Get Bayonetta 2. Choose Bayonetta 3. Hold up 4. Jump 5. Up-tilt 6. Rinse and Repeat (Optional) 7. While up-tilting, move back and forth in the air.

    Actually, Bayonetta is better than DK. If you stay in one spot too long, it spawns an electro ball that can KO you. Since you constantly move using the Bayonetta strategy, it'll never spawn. But yeah, DK is a second best tactic.

    To be fair, though, Trophy Rush is pretty useless. You don't really get a lot of trophies, custom moves are scarce, and the amount of coins you get for a game called "Trophy Rush" is ridiculous.

    Actually you do get a lot of trophies (30+ in 2 1/2 minutes) but that's mainly what you should use it for, unless you've discovered the custom special moves trick. I got over 783,000 on the Wii U as Donkey Kong.

    Yeah trophy rush is one of the best ways to get large quantities of random trophies. ~700 gold for 30-40 trophies? Good deal.

    Trophy rush was one of the modes I used to get the last few custom moves I was missing. Just play as the characters you need moves for.
