i got an idea

i had an idea for a story where there are these tiny people that live in villages in the forest and each species has the characteristics of different animals. (sciurians are like squirrels, vulpans are like foxes, etc.) rabbits are also the equivalent of horses/cows and they use the fluids in firefly abdomens to make lamps! my sister said it sounds stupid, but what do you guys think?
