Lucina was such a waste.

She's almost the exact same as Marth only faster and weaker. Instead of using her, you can just make a custom Marth that's faster and weaker!

    Monolith was formed by an ex-Squaresoft employee. Monolith is basically better Square Enix. Having them as alts would better because at least they aren't wasting a slot that could have been filled by a better quality character. It's not like that would have been hard. Just cut 4 of Marth, Pit, and Mario's colors and replace them with the alt characters and 3 of their colors.

    Lucinas not a wasted spot. Spots are made for the characters after they are made. Sakurai said that he made Lucina, Dr. Mario, and Dark Pit after the initial roster was done. He noticed the few small differences Lucina and Dark Pit had they were bumped from alts to full playable characters. Dr. Mario got bumped because he felt it would be a slap in the face if he was an alt and not full playable

    Jordan: Being good with a character doesn't make the character good. A good Fox is always better than an equally good Pichu. If I did hate everything, I would like Brawl. Random tripping and outdated mechanics aside, Brawl is easily better than this garbage game. Story Mode, Tourney Mode (ALREADY ON THE GAME), and better stage & character rosters.

    Final Fantasy VII remake is a timed exclusive.It's rumored that the game could be coming to the NX. Besides, Cloud is more iconic than any of Square Enix's characters. And fun fact, Sony tried to acquire Cloud in Playstation All-Stars, but Square said no.

    Have you even been listening!? Literally everything the clones use are recycled! They are last minute additions! They aren't taking up "slots". There is nothing they could've added besides the clones that wouldn't have been a clone.

    These characters were bonus characters and if we did not get them then thats it, we would have 3 less characters on the final version of SSB4/5. Nobody else would have gone in their spot, we would have just had 3 less characters. Its like getting a free desert after eating an expensive dinner, you don't complain and embrace the fact you got some free desert.

    It was a bigger slap in the face by having a perfect, clone-free roster, only to add in 3 at the last minute. Lucina is a watered-down Marth, Dark Pit is wasted potential, as he could have had a non-clone moveset, and Dr. Mario is literally just Mario in a different outfit and should have been an alt as a result. All 3 of them were a waste of code that should have never been made playable.

    I do complain if this dessert that Sakurai loves to pretend his clones are is forced upon me. No one/few people asked for them, and they aren't special in any way, so he shouldn't have forced them upon us by putting them in the game as fully playable characters.

    Dark: Wolf was added in at the last minute in Brawl. The time that was wasted on 3 worthless clones could have been used to add in a better quality clone that isn't even technically a clone.

    Brawl was delayed just to add Sonic, since Sonic borrows from other characters and many of his moves are just balls, they probably overestimated how long it would take to develop him. You're comparing the development of one game to another, but that's not how it works.

    I couldn't careless what a small nation in a huge world requests. They weren't requested worldwide (at least not the Dark Pit most people expected), so those worthless clones shouldn't have been added in. I haven't heard any request for Doc M during the game's development, so you're probably lying and he wasn't requested much.

    With the exception of Mewtwo, I like all the dlc characters to some degree! But you have to admit, Bayonetta is the only one that has a truly unique moveset!
