  @Carlyle How am I a "fanboy" for trying to show support for a franchise that Nintendo are too lazy to develop a new game, apparently Miyamoto's excuse is that they couldn't think of anything "new" apparently. And by new they want to shoe-horn some motion-control gimmicks into a game. Meanwhile while the vocal fans are trying to get attention Miyamoto's too busy rehashing mario games.

  You know why games like Metroid,Starfox, and Fzero don't get enough attention it's because if Nintendo spent a bit more time marketing those games they'd probably sell slightly more.

  you say starfox needs more attention yet it's being rebooted and was delayed fivemonths for more than the controls go watch that video again. you're not a hipster don't worry the sad fact is fzero fans are a minority there just isn't a demand for that series. except for a vocal minority who gets ticked off over every e3 and smash roster.

  @Carlyle I was mainly talking about Metroid and Fzero. (though Federation Force does count but its mainly a spin-off that looks like a mediocre wiiware title) As for star fox zero, its been stated that it's neither a prequel nor a sequel nor a reboot but more of a redux or remake like metroid zero mission or resident evil gamecube.   @Carlyle There are some rehashes Nintendo is know for doing like New super mario bros 2, Yoshi's island 3d, Twilight Princess hd, (3rd release of the game) starfox 64 3d. There's still a bit more games that Nintendo reuses same old level tropes but with a different coat of paint.

  @Carlyle He could give it to a 3rd party dev like GX. Look, don't tell me the futuristic racing genre is so niche now I mean F-zero did inspire other racing games out there. You honestly have a very don't care attitude going on which I question why exactly? Name another in-between modern Nintendo series that most people consider dead and has barely any fans supporting it.
