    Trying to accurately postion the character by using the foot pose is actually really tedious and annoying. Fortunately, there is an alternate character model! Pictured: default positioning in squid form. The line passes just behind the arrow ridge.

    More specifically, the line passes below the bottom of the arrow ridge, and above the black line at the bottom of the eyeballs. As an added bonus, the squid model is pointer-shaped. You can use this to get a more accurate reading on where the chacter is facing/aiming.
