Continuing my quest to analyze Octarian civilization, I next enter Octosniper Ramparts, which appears to be a park with a lot of windmills. Hey, the Octarians have discovered a way of producing electricity other than the Zapfish! The question now is: where is the wind coming from? This is a controlled environment, after all. Notable features about this dome include the gazebo, forts, and bugs.

  • I wonder how they developed zero-gravity technology? They either did that, or the support structures for the buildings and what-not are invisible!

  • Come to think of it, did they even build those structures themselves? Some of the buildings, skyscrapers, and outdoorsy-structures look like the Octarians had just plucked them right off of the surface world! That may explain the trees, grass, and chunks of land I see in the picture! Maybe their UFOs utilize tractor beams?

  • It's pretty amazing... You know, the amount of lore the Splatoon universe holds? On the surface, it's just battles and fashion. The really cool stuff comes from what you don't see, and uh, probably will never see. It's all dependent on logic and the imagination!

  • Squee-G's are little robotic fish that light up upon detecting ink and suck it up with a vacuum. Presumably, their purpose is to keep the place clean. But what do the Octarians care if there's ink everywhere? It doesn't hurt them. On that note, Squee-G's contrast my idea that Flooders served as cleanup robots. Were Flooders displaced by Squee-G's, or do they have different purposes after all?
