    2 Capcom reps is more than enough. Ry has an excuse, being the most iconic character of a company, and a very important genre in gaming, and gaming as a whole. Plus, the Street Fighter 2 port was huge on the SNES, and really helped the genre get popular. While it would be nice to have a character that represents visual novels I think Ayumi from Famicom Detectie Club would be a better choice.

    She could be the new Marth. Ace Attorney, while big on the DS, wasn't big enough to get a rep in Smash, and hasn't done that much for Nintendo, compared to Megaman, Ryu, and other third party characters. *Ryu, not Ry *Detective, not Detectie
