    @Andrew Game Freak was still developing the gen 6 Pokémon and wanted a gen 6 Pokémon in Smash and since they were still working on Greninja they only sent Sakurai a few sketches and Sakarai gave Greninja the moves without knowing if he was able to learn it or not and since he knew the moves in Dmash they made him be able to learn them in Smash
