BE HONEST: How long does it take you to call someone OP?

So, I'm guessing most people judge if someone's OP (overpowered) after about three or so matches, and it may depend on how badly they lost. That's when they say he/she is OP. Before I say the next part, let me just say I only faced Corrin three times, and they didn't counter very much. (More in next comment.)

    I hear SEVERAL complain that Corrin is OP because of his unique counter. First off, did they play against Marth, Little Mac, or Shulk? Marth had the first counter with spacing bonus, Little Mac is incredibly fast, and you may not see one coming, and Shulk had the most powerful counter for a while, plus ridiculous range. (More in next comment.)

    Sure, Corrin's is stronger, with unique knockback, but think of those other counters as PREPARATIONS! In order to punish one with a counter, grab and throw. Though some characters like Fox have no kill throws, you have over 50 other characters to choose from. Every fighter has a weakness. Give it time—be patient! I hope many people can answer and spread this discussion with others.

    I'm a big corrin fan. Is he/she OP? Nope. people lose and blame it on being OP, you got nobody to blame but yourself if you lost. OP is just a bad excuse to use today. Everything is nice and balanced. Each character has strengths and weaknesses. People gotta learn both! ( that's key! )

    @beaks: Indeed. Also, I feel like OP is so overused. It makes the person look weak! Also, I'm a little disappointed that this didn't get many answers. I hope nobody's afraid.

    When someone wins a match for BS reasons. For example, Mario's up smash, bayo's witch time. Yes, you can git gud, but there is stuff that can be considered op.
