I'll give you the benefit of the doubt (hope thats correct), and if steve was in smash( big if there) this would most likely be his move set. up b: throwing an ender pearl, as in minecraft you would take damage when throwing. Also how far you throw it would depend on how much damage you take.

  • side b: would be splash potion of damage(or whatever its called) and would damage you if you got to close neutral b: would be arrows down b: placing blocks (maximum of 10) depending on the height the structure you'll take damage when you fall( so yeah steve will be the only smash character to take fall damage).

  • the stage and the other fighter(including assist trophies) can destroy them in one hit, basicly making sure he is not op and resembles a bit of pichu

  • his smash attack would resemble other fighters smash attacks like villager down smash would be steves links side smash would be steves the only unique smash attack would be up smash where hitting his opponent with his pick ax putting him into the ground setting up for combos and stuff.

  • his final smash would be summoning a random creature depending on how long you hold a button,lets say the power button or something else who cares, heres the order the creatues would come out creeper, gast, and ender dragon. so thats my move set for steve comment what should be diffrent or if you want why i think a dlc should be a crappy joke character.

  • Up Smash being a combo starter... interesting. Well, here's the only issue I have with the hypothetical Steve Up B and Down B: Damage unto himself. This'll effectively make Steve just another Pichu. You'll effectively force the hypothetical Steve players to never recover except to ledge, and due to how ender pearl is so laggy in MC, it'll be really easy to punish.

  • this post was actually just to bug jeffrey but to be honest now that I think about it would be better to move the down be to the neutral b and the down be would be putting on armor, working the same way as he's final smash

  • Yeah, it's better to allow him to either have Super Armor or a 3-4 frame up special. As it stands, Steve has neither. I figured I might as well have some intelligent discussions on movesets. What would Steve's tilts be?

  • the way I see it is that he only has three weapons(4 if you count the shovel) on him which are sword, pickaxe, fist, and shovel. so his forwar tilt would be a thrust that can be angled with a slight knockback down tilt would behim swipping at the ground with the pick axe(maybe with ability to trip people) his up tilt would ether be him thrusting the pick axe in the air or wack a person in the head

  • forward throw would be throwing him forward and hitting him with an arrow, back throw would be same thing but just because throw him first then turn then arrow. up throw,thrown directly above, then arrow. down throw, thrown downwards then hit with shovel. pummel would be the same thing steve would do with anything in minecraft, punch(something similar to the punch animation in minecraft)

  • the taunts would be up taunt:flip side taunt: throwing a rose down taunt: building a tower of bimps(look it up) neutral air downward slice forward air hitting with a shovel simmilar to the neutral air, vs cause meteor smash, up air upward kick, back thrust with pick axe, down air dropping anvil
