In Floccessy Ranch, there's a Riolu that makes the first gym a lot less hard But it's pretty rare so you may be searching for a bit Also get it to Level 15 before you face the first gym because that's when it gets Force Palm

Oh, and you chose Oshawott for your starter right? Because Snivy and Tepig can get pretty hard to use

yes, I chose Oshawott as my starter not because it's the easiest starter to use, I just prefer it over Snivy and especially Tepig I don't think I'll go out of my way to look for a Riolu unless it's absolutely necessary, but thanks for the advice
