If Microsoft gave us Minecraft Wii U, what makes you think they won't make Banjo and Kazooie for Smash NX?

    Smash NX is most likley going to be a ported version of the Wii U edition. Maybe we a few tweak and updated feature, but I doubt any new characters...

    It's not Microsoft's fault, it's Rare's fault. Microsoft may have been interested in such a possibility, but Rare thought otherwise and wasn't fond of the idea of Banjo in Smash. Perhaps they see Banjo as their own answer to Super Mario, but crossovers with Banjo are currently out of the question ever since Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.

    In fact, even Sakurai admitted in an E-mail to a curious fan that he tried to get Banjo in Melee after getting the Smash 2 Poll results, but the negotiations with Rare ended on a sour note. At this point, it's likely that a proper substitute for Banjo will make it in a future installment, but who?

    I think the Nx Must have original games or Nintendo will end up like with the wii U and if that happens people will loose fait. to be honest its not Nintendos fault third party is to stupid to figure out how the Gamepad works.

    @Verse Jr. You can blame Ubisoft for that; they heavily criticised the Wii U, and everyone else simply played Follow the Leader. They downright ignored what Nintendo has to say about the Wii U and it wasn't until the indie scene made clear on why 3rd-parties no longer support Nintendo: The Wii U is tricky to develop software on, producing glitches not found on other systems.

    Banjoo would be nice but it's all up to Rare. If they say yes, likely they will get in if the NX offers new characters. Also they are highly wanted so it'll make since. Personally, I got most of my most wanted characters so I'm indifferent if they do or do not add any characters.
