How do I beat King Dedede?

I'm awful at the matchup. Mains: Sonic, R.O.B., Corrin, Shulk, Ness. Secondaries: Palutena, Mega Man, Pac-Man.

    All his attacks have a lot of buildup, so I'd imagine the best tactic would just be to hit him before he hits you.

    Have you tried using Korbee, his spot on smashes throw Deè a run for his moneh

    Large hitbox makes him a combo meal. If you use Villager, Dedede comes with a toy, his Gordo. Deals very high damage if pocketed and can be knocked back from a safe distance by F-air/B-air.
