Does anyone or pro player have any tips on be good at super smash bros wiiu and playing competitvely?

I really like smash bros wiiu alot, its one my favorite games other then splatoon. It would be nice if I could be really good some day so I have chance against some good players. I not saying I want to go to live tournaments, I don't have time for that. I just want be able to win lot more matches.

  • First, try out a few characters. Second, figure out what kind of play style suits you the best. Third, come up with combos. Fourth, keep practicing once you have a main.

  • Basic rule of thumb that will make or break you... Stop rolling so much, and find a better movement option. You'll do great once you learn how to space yourself according to your character.

  • Recommend watching a lot of tournaments. Youtube channels like Zero, who is one of the best Sm4sh players, explains the in and outs of the game. AlpharadTV makes funny how to play videos for each character. Those two helped me get a lot better.

  • You may need to learn advancing skills like character specific combos, teching, pivoting, out of shield options, and jump cancel glide toss depending on what character you use! Check out the Youtube Channel called My Smash Corner!

  • Um thanks you for the tips, I try my best on using some the tips. I hope try to get better. For me it might take awhile though. By the way I have watched few videos before this question, I have learned few things and used some. I seem to get nerves when I play especially during while I am on tourney mode, don't now why though. Oh well I am sure I get better, I just practice offline also.
