Marth is better than Roy

You'll be angry with me. Roy has a bad approach, can't pressure sheild, bad edge gaurding, easy to combo and juggle, and has almost no results! Marth has a better approach, range, better MU spread, and better results! Roy can't hold his own against top tiers because characters like Rosa and Villager can stop him from approaching with ease,

    Yes, short hops are your friend when it comes to Marth. It helps him space with ariels.

    i realized that almost all smash 4 roys are trash. I admit im trash, which is why i never use him online. I did find a combo-ish thing you can do with roy. It is d-throw to jab, and repeat over and over

    I'm open to new opinions. A skilled Roy player can edgeguard with Fair, Nair, NB, Dair. Roy can be used well, but not by alot of people. his edgeguarding is hard to learn but is very rewarding. Roy is faster and has stronger attacks than Marth but Marth has better recovery and odd attributes like shield-breaker and tippers. It's really up to preference.

    There are great Roys out there like Static Manny, Sethlon, and Neo. 78% of FG players are bad.

    @Nate: NO NO NO, (I would never put the innocent to that kind of punishment with the title of Fanboy.) I just see you a lot when Roy comes up. I hate to be high and mighty, but I feel I'm one of very few who actually take the time to master Robin. You know what I mean?

    @★Star, phew! I mean I REALLY LIKE ROY! I don't wanna become another jeffery or anything. I got this game before the final presentation but after Roy came out. I saw him online (not knowing there was dlc) and said what the heck! I wanna try that guy out! Once I figured out there was dlc I bought him. Roy can be played better than marth and vice-versa.
