    it is because most ness' dont really use variety just dthrow fair,fair,fair etc.. back throw for killing and they sometimes spam pk fire then backthrow you.

    Look. Ness has a variety of projectiles. He can absorb profectiles, then heal him, and his bat can reflect projectiles. He is a tough player to learn in my opinion. But he has good speed and attack. His side smash (Baseball Bat) Is so OP, that it can knock anyone out of the stage as early as 500 or less. NESS IS GOOD, but there are people who don't even know how to use them.

    yes earthbound is one of my favorite games but we arent saying ness is bad. it is just how most people who play him (not all) use little to no variety when using him. he isnt bad but i prefer lucas' playstyle better. Ness IS one of my mains after all...

    People spam fighters attacks is because the lack the time to practice and never realizing repeating the any of the same attacks will make them weaker obviously to prevent spammers from winning to easily with only one attack Sakurai has a good reason for putting the "Stale Moves" in the game.
