Wait, since the encounter rate for shiny Pokémon in Gen 6 is higher than it was in Gen 5, is it possible for non-shiny Pokémon in Gen 5 to be shiny in Gen 6 if they're traded forward like it was with Pokémon with the IVs to be shiny in Gen 1 when they were traded forward to Gen 2? Probably not, but I want to get the record set straight for me

  • Sorta like how some azurill can change genders when evolving due to the different gender ratios between azurill and marill? That'd be cool.

  • well that was fixed in Gen 6 I'm pretty sure, so by extension the answer to my initial question is probably not
