King of Lag Mac

How on earth can you beat a Little Mac while dealing with lag? I can't beat a Mac with lag and it really frustrates me soooo much. Any advice?

    That works on FG macs. The one I fought would punish that easily. I hate fighting a Mac with lag. I almost never win. I couldn't grab Mac bcs my fighter wouldn't move at all so I was stuck not being able to move at all losing all momentum.

    I was playing Pikachu against this laggy Mac and I couldn't go the directions I wanted to go with Pikachu for his quick attack. Sometimes I wouldn't even land on the ground. That plus not being able to pivot grab = auto loss. I couldn't even dodge half the time.

    Uuuuuugggh! Little Mac is so annoying with enough input lag. Hard to punish anything he does. You simply win by leaving, it's not worth it.

    use a character with counters or just hits hard wait till the mac comes to you then strike.

    I would've tried that but bcs of the buffering lag I couldn't pivot grab or grab him at all. I couldn't even land my combos. It ruined my neutral. The worst part is that he kept taunting at me. I wanted to beat him again (I won with Cloud without lag) but I couldn't. When we started playing each other there was no lag and I lost some games but the fact that he taunted in laggy games frustrated me.

    Little Mac according to ZeRo has no good or bad matchups so anything goes and ruining my neutral with lag denies everything I can do. Lag with Little mac is a real pain bcs he is the best ground fighter. He has super armor in his smash attacks, his tilts are very fast to follow up (especially with the KO punch), and his jabs can destroy projectiles.

    yea i hate when ppl taunt in lag and super armor is probably the dumbest thing in this game im sorry little mac is a silly character and nobody needs super armor. you get rewarded for randomly throwing out smash attacks with him and its dumb

    I have no complaints about him at all in a lagless match. He is a punishing fighter that way and it forces you to not play footsie on him or he wins. His attributes in a laggy match r broken if in the right hands.
