why do people hate the clones

oh guess what i saw MORE people complaining about the clones it's been over a year since thegame was released seriously people get over it

    They claim they're unoriginal and take up slots when in reality, Sakurai said they're more like extra sprinkles on a frosted cake.

    Because everone letters every character to be of unique styles of fighting. Copying then just feels like they aren't worth playing at all. Except for Ganondorf, he is an excellent exception. You get what I'm saying?

    What e-genius said. Ganondorf is not an exception. The main villain of the N3 should NOT be relegated to being a clone (and later semi-clone) of a guy from a dead franchise. There's plenty of source material to make a moveset for Ganondorf, yet Sakurai still chooses to take the lazy route and make him Falcondorf.
