    I (and many other people) think that it's a child controlling them, and they're merely toys. It makes sense, since in the original opening it was in a child's room, and the toys of Nintendo characters were fighting. BTW, Master Hand would be the child's hand, representing his imagination and creation.

    And then that would mean that Tabuu is literally represents ACTUAL taboo, meaning that subspace is society trying to prohibit (socially) something like the child growing to a teen/adult, but still doing something against the norm (still playing with toys)

    Tabuu is an actual word that means something prohibited by social customs, so it would make sense if Tabuu was prohibiting something by destroying what the child, master hand, created, as seen from the section where master hand is being controlled by Tabuu, and made powerless.

    I guess that the only way that Master Core could fit in is this way: Master Core could represent every time someone has put the child down. Every negative action, every hurtful word, and BAM! It explodes out as rage, and can't contain itself any longer. But hey, that's a theory. a GAME THEORY! XD
