If Corrin's neutral special didn't have that bite, Corrin would actually be a better character since you can follow up more effectively in case if you've used the charge shot from distance. Unless if there is a way to cancel the bite.

    If you fully charge it,you can let go b so that the bite doesnt charge.At 0 charge,if fast enough,you can try a side b or dash attack.However,theres no way to cancel the bite completely

    I agree though, the full charge at a distance kind of makes it useless... but if you're lucky enough to point blank a shot, it's quite rewarding.

    If you think about it, what's the point of even fully charging the standard special if you can't get a bite from it, not like your foe is going to be sitting there right in front of you. If only there was a way to cancel the bit, you can follow up with an even bigger punish.
