Hylia was the original, but when she couldn't use the Triforce, being a goddess, she formed herself to reincarnate into Zelda over and over again. Could the Fierce Deity be Links original god form? Think about it, he learns what Hylia has done, and vows to always protect her through his own eternal reincarnation. I have no proof of this, but I think it's a plausible theory for now.

  • No, Link never had a god form. ._. (Because the original hero was the same Link as the one in skyward sword.)

Thats the original Link, yes. But remember, the Zelda from Skyward Sword is the ''original'' Zelda. Her previous self was the form of the Goddess Hylia. There could have been a god, as of yet unnamed. who gave up his god form, eventually reincarnating as this first Link. That's my theory.

  • The Link in Skyword sword wasn't the original Link, atleast according to a manga in the Hyrule Historia there was one before. No he wasn't a god, just a warrior.
