Why all the hate on Dark Pit, Lucina, and Dr. Mario?

People just don't like how the Smash series went so far with the characters they think that are stupid. Well, we don't people's stupid opinions about characters, which will make the person who loves the character feel bad and will start an arguement.

I love Lucas and Claud in the Mother 3 game, and no one can replace those two. I love all characters, and I don't think the Smash Bros series is bad. I think it improved a 1,000x better! It's just that, people just hate clones so much, and they think they took up ''character slots'' which don't exist. But in the ballot, people voted for Shrek and Goku, and that literally made me pretty embarrassed

In truth I enjoy dark pit and dr. Mario there fun to play as (I was extremely excited when they brought dr. Mario back he was my main in meelee)

Lucas: Aww thank you @Kid Ash :3 Im very Psi glad that you love my game and me...I hope you are patient with M3 localization :D Anyway, yeah all this clone hate is just a waste of time. Sakurai will not remove them in anyway shape or form :/ So those clone haters are just gonna have to Pk deal with it :D

It's because ever since the last DLC came out, all the hate goes on those 3 characters. People are like, ''DARK PIT'S A WASTE OF A CHARACTER!'' or ''LUCINA SUCKS!''. People are just so selfish that in my opinion, they don't the game is good enough for them with characters that Sakurai decides to add.

Because they're half[CENSORED] clones with few differences from their originals and can hardly be called their own characters as a result. To make things worse, they were going to be alts, but Sakurai wasted time barely changing them so he could pad the roster. There was enough time to add a unique (sorta) character instead of 3 half[CENSORED] clones. Remember the Wolf story?

The series isn't bad, but NOT this game is. Clones have already made their return. Don't make me bring up the various glitches left in the game and all of the bad decisions made during development. Let's also not forget that Sakurai lied to us multiple times before this game's release.

Well, Dr. Mario is an exepction, yeah, he has nearly no difference to Mario, but there are things that make him a lot more different than Mario (different type of gameplay needed, a F-Air that is sick, poor recovery options and a longer cape). Lucina gets most of the hate because people tend to spam a lot as her. And Dark Pit is because, well, i dunno.

Uh @Fllip, you typed that twice. I'm not liking people's reactions to the characters and the game. If people don't learn how to NOT open their mouths and whine like a little baby and be like (sounds like a disabled, person)''OH THIS CHARACTER IS TERRIBLE!'' Not to be mean, but what I'm saying is people have issues with Smash and it's characters. Keep being Salty, and no one will listen to you.

@Denzel[CN] Don't even start. PLEASE don't. The thread was doing fine without actual haters commenting. And no, there was no time for more unique fighters. That's why we HAVE clones in the first place. They take less time to make, and they finished everything else. What is so wrong about having a few characters that are solely there as extras, even if they have similar movesets?

Oh I understand. Alright, time to close this dicussion. Thank you guys for dicussing this with me. It was great and I agree with all of your opinions(except for the one who said that Dr. Mario and Dark Pit are 95% clones). Remember, Keep Smashing, and Stay Smashing! Tune up for a next dicussion!
