  • I haven't played the game either, but if you don't like the game, you can't call yourself a Sonic fan.

  • @Daniel not only is Wii U lacking 3rd parties but also online market is lacking most 3rd parties companies invest money and time in powerfull and best selling consoles and Wii U is more singleplay market ... in the end it becomes BIGGEST flop of Nintendo product

  • I think we can all agree that we want the NX to to better than the Wii U.

  • Agreed. Also, for your Naruto mii, I would add black glasses on his forehead for the headband.

  • And mak his eyes blue. for the whiskers, use the last option in the face customization for his whiskers, then his eyebroes for the third os since you won't be able to see his eyebrows with the headband, and make his eyes bigger since It's Anime, and to block out the wrinkles added with the whiskers.

  • Ok, lots of stuff I need to address. I'd first like to say that SEGA's situation with the Dreamcast is nothing like Nintendo's situation with the Wii U. SEGA completely BOTCHED the SEGA Saturn's lifespan by having a terrible launch, strange architecture (so 3rd Parties didn't want to develop for it), a lack of key 1st Party titles (Sonic X-Treme was cancelled), and more. Before that, they released

  • the SEGA 32X which sold terribly and cost them a ton of money. The point I'm trying to make is that SEGA was already in a desperate situation by the time they launched the Dreamcast. They invested tons of cash into making it graphically powerful (for the time), have a compelling online infrastructure (which was largely unheard-of in 1999), and great marketing (released on 9/9/99) with exclusives.

  • I meant to DO. I'm not changing how my mii looks out of respect from my sister. She's the one who made it, but we both know what he looks like.

  • Nintendo can actually afford to have the Wii U receive such lackluster sales since they made a surplus of cash from the Wii and DS. The 3DS and its software also supplies a steady stream of income, and while it's selling slowly the Wii U does make them some money too. Someone asked if Nintendo was going to share the same fate as SEGA: no, or at the very least not within the next 10 years.

  • As for SEGA being alive due to Nintendo's generosity, that's also false. SEGA decided to go third party and released exclusives on the consoles they thought would be the most profitable for them. They released Sonic Adventure 1&2 on GameCube because they thought it ould sell better there. They released Jet Set Radio Future and Panzer Dragoon on Xbox cuz they thought it would sell better there.

  • The point is, SEGA doesn't owe Nintendo anything. They went out of the console race not so much because of competition but due to a series of very, VERY poor decisions by their management. Games that would resonate more with the Nintendo fanbase (Sonic, Monkey Ball, Billy Hatcher, NiGHTS, etc) went to those systems to capitalize on that.

  • I think you all make a good point. This is about people's opinions after all.

  • @Daniel: Some of the stuff you said is agreeable. The stuff about SEGA and their relationship with Nintendo isn't completely true though. No disrespect was intended on my part.
