    Considering Geno barely even got acknowledged at all after Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and up until this point, I'd say the Mii Fighter costume is still a serious step up for him. I mean, when was the last time Nintendo really acknowledged that Geno even existed at all, before the Smash costume reveal?

    When did Square Enix? haha Both Nintendo and Square Enix forgot about the poor puppet until very recently. I agree with you that the Mii costume is a huge step up and I'd even go so far to say this makes him considerably more likely for the next Smash as long as the demand is still there by then.

    Yes, exactly. I see a lot of people write and hear them say they are disappointed they didn't make Geno a full-fledged fighter, but truthfully, I don't see how people could've honestly believed that to be realistically possible. I've played Super Mario RPG, I think it's great and fun and I like Geno... but he's not exactly a prime candidate for a Smash inclusion, as far as I'm concerned.
