  • Like Devils third Nintendo of north america tryed to sweep it under the rug and never gave it a chance. This is why the wii u is doing bad in north america.

  • l want this game but l will not buy it until it gets a physical release. lf a game gets a digital only release, as far as l'm concerned it doesn't exist.

  • "but they forsaw the sells to this so they had to make it digital" so no physical release, no marketing, no advertisement, no promotion, no fan encouragement, no promotion whatsoever means forseeing sells? no thats not forseeing sells thats self-fulfilling prophecy, in anycase NOA has no interest in the fatal frame series its their fault the franchise is failing, because they won't help save it.

  • very sad. but its understandable due to the fact this game is twice the times expensive if you dont have an external hard drive. to buy the game digitally

  • remember what they said when people complained about the low hard drive? they won't make us go digital only and they wouldn't be forcing us to buy an EX hard drive. but they will with this game? no! when they said they won't make us by an EX hard drive, they need to stick to what they said and make a physical version, that means NO EXCEPTIONS!!! the majority of gamers still perfer physical games.

  • I still say that NOA should sell both FF5 and FF4 as a special edition here. It could sell higher than the normal price point and give fans who bought the digital version an incentive to buy it again. Everybody wins. But it probably won't happen as NOA doesn't care about what fans want. They only care about how much money they may or may not make off of it. Fans needs are a distant concern for NOA

  • Coery you are right. I bought the 8 gig Wii U with the exact same understanding. Now NOA releases a major franchise digital only with a file size of 16 gigs. I have to have a hard drive just to play this game. That is alot of money to pay just to play one game that in the end I'm basically renting from Nintendo. And since I won't/don't buy digital media, a hard drive would only be used for FF5.

  • l have the black 32 gig wii u and l only have about 7000mb left 10 gig is used by xenoblade chronicles x's data packs and the rest is taken up by save data and updates. and l have all my games physical[17 games], the 32gig is almost not enough.

  • Nintendo sucks BIG TIME !!

    Yeahs0
  • Biohazard I wouldnt say Nintendo as a whole sucks. Nintendo of Europe and Japan seem to care about there customers. I would say however that Nintendo of America is worthless though. They seem to only care about profits and playing it safe. Their customers needs seem like a huge burden to them. That is why I won't be buying anymore Nintendo consoles until I can bypass NOA by a region free console

    Yeahs5
  • I really, really want this game, but I don't have a hdd for my Wii U and that's the only way to get the game!! If there was a physical release of the game in North America, even as a limited release, I would buy it without a second thought.

    Yeahs6
  • @Justin,u said it all.I couldn't agree more... @Hyde,idk if u hav a ps3, PSN sell digital versions of FF1,FF2 and FF3 for 9.99 each,even lower if on sale...

    Yeahs3
  • remember what reggie said about xenoblade on the wii? they wanted to, but they didn't want to take risks! thats horse-hockey nintendo was never afraid to take any risk whatsoever, they were always daring to try something new they use to encourage fans to even give it a try. why can't nintendo of america do that? why is it so hard to give the fans what they want? we made their company successful.
