Question

If Smash 5 is ever actually a thing, how would you improve it from SSB4?

I would add more dinosaurs. And also completely rework Samus's move-set.

    I would give alot of taunts more functions. For example Little Macs down taunt taking his jacket off and when you use it again he puts it back on. Also being able to make your own color palates for costumes instead of preset ones.

    Roster wise maybe hard to beat considering the amount of 3rd party reps we got. Problem is, how do we out do this? As the possibilities of these 3rd parties returning is hard to determine. So how could we replace them? Sure we may get K.Rool, Dixie or another Nintendo rep, but it maybe hard to beat the likes of Megaman, Cloud or Bayonetta.

    Add Crash Bandicoot, make it so you'd have to be at a certain percent threshold to get KOed off the top like at 50%, make stages with cooler backgrounds just without being too big or too chaotic, kinda like Midgar without the summons, and rework characters to balance out the cast while representing their series better.

    Certain characters should have their special moves swapped with their custom moves! For instance, Bowser should have Fire Shot as his default neutral special, and Bowser Jr should have piercing cannon as his default neutral special!

    -increase shieldstun -slightly increase hitstun -make recoveries much worse in every way, but keep the same ledge mechanics -make rolls and spotdodges easier to punish -give airdodge 12 frames of lag instead of 5 and increase airdodge landing lag to 33.

    *Not listening* 3rd party characters are characters like Sonic, Pac-Man, Megaman, Cloud, Bayonetta and Ryu who aren't from Nintendo yet they don't have actual game systems of their own so they just support 1st parties. In other words, LOOK IT UP

    I would add a final smash meter; it would work like Little Mac's K.O. meter but it would fill up slower and when it's full you could use your final smash.

    @alex Agreed. I think that (semi) clones like Luigi, Lucas, Dr. Mario, Lucina, etc. Should have more differences than their counterpart. Also, Character's Final Smashes that are just copies get replaces with new ones. Also, add Ninten, Re-add Young Link, and add Paper Mario.

    I would have a setting to remove stage hazards, balanced custom moves, more uses for coins, the tower of Smash thing that was in the fake leak, and rework old characters moves to better repersent them.

    Some kind of halfway point between Omega and regular stages to make for a wider variety of competitive arenas without intrusive hazards. More robust online infrastructure - ranking system, open tourneys, etc. Classic Mode more like 3DS version than Wii U. Some kind of Adventure Mode, but closer to Melee's than Brawl's. Even more music options and guest composers.
