    Kamui is Corrin's Japanese name. And personally, I refer to female Corrin as Kamui (that's how I thought it always was)

    Great question. I don't get it either. Nobody calls Robin or any of the other FE characters by their Japanese names, so why Corrin?

    When Fates was announced the trailers were in Japanese and Corrin wasn't called Corrin yet. People got used to Kamui, and don't want to change it.

    Meh, I call Bayonetta "Cereza" sometimes. But "Kamui" rolls off the tongue better than "Corrin" and it doesn't sound like you're saying "Corn"
